What type of wax do you use?
We only use the very best 100% Australian sourced soy wax designed and manufactured right here in Sydney, Australia for our candles.
What type of fragrance oils do you use?
Our fragrance oils are also designed and developed in Sydney, Australia and are completely vegan/cruelty-free and are nontoxic and do not contain palm oil.
Do your wicks contain lead?
We use 100% cotton self-trimming lead-free wicks which promote a softer burn.
How do I reduce candle smoking?
To ensure a cleaner and longer burn, ALWAYS keep the wick trimmed to approximately 6mm or 1/4 inch and keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, match debris, dust or any foreign particles – this will promote an even burn while helping to eliminate smoking and dripping. We cannot stress enough the importance of ALWAYS trimming your wicks at all times as failure to remove the black mushroom of the wick may lead to a wax pool fire.
What is a candle’s minimum burn time?
Please refer to the candle description for this as the burn time differs for each candle size.
How should I store my candles?
Store candles in a cool, dark and dry place and keep like scents together. Candles have different melting points, so never leave candles in your car on warm days.
Why wouldn’t I be getting any scent?
The candle’s ability to ‘throw’ a scent is affected by the size of the room, wax type, amount of scent, etc. This is a complex area and one every candle manufacturer faces.
Can your candles be used outdoors?
All our candles are for indoor use only except for our Citronella candle which can be used outdoors too.
Why would a container candle have air bubbles?
This is described as wet spots on the side of the glass as it looks like a ‘wet’ appearance in parts and are caused by a variety of things, particularly the adhesion between the wax and the jar – some can be controlled, and some cannot. It is worth pointing out that this is a very common occurrence when making candles in glassware, particularly with clear glasses whereby it is easily visible, and natural waxes can also be more prone to it. Some of the most expensive soy wax candles from large manufacturers have the same result. This will not affect the way the candle burns.
Can I recycle my candle jar?
Absolutely, we encourage you to reuse your candle jar. You can use them as a vase, jars for your makeup brushes, cotton buds, pencil/pen caddy, etc.
Do you deliver internationally?
No, we only deliver orders to Australia.
What shipping service do you use?
We use Australia’s Post.
Do I need to sign for my delivery?
Due to Covid-19 and for everyone’s safety, ‘Signature on Delivery’ has been changed to ‘Authority to Leave’ to eliminate person-to-person contact. With contact-free delivery, you and the delivery driver won’t need to come into contact, touch a pen, or a scanning device.
What are the delivery costs?
We now offer free shipping on orders over $150 or a $12.90 flat rate on all other orders standard shipping Australia wide.
Can I place a phone order?
No, all orders need to be processed online.
Can I cancel my order if I have ordered the wrong item?
Unfortunately, we are unable to edit your order items once it’s been placed. If you have ordered the wrong item, provided it hasn’t yet been shipped, we can cancel your order and refund you so you can order again. Please email [email protected]. If the order has already left our premises, you will receive an email advising you that your order has been despatched.
Can I change my delivery address after I’ve placed my order?
As soon as your purchase is complete, we commence the processing and packing of your order so we can get your order out to you in a timely manner. If you have provided an incomplete or incorrect delivery address please email [email protected] and we will do our best to update your address, however we cannot guarantee it will be possible.
My promo code doesn’t work, what should I do?
Your promo code may not be working for several reasons. Please check that all characters are entered correctly. If it is still not working, it may have expired or been used before.
Can I change my account personal details and password?
Yes, you can change your account personal details and password once you have logged into your account and go to finalise your order. We will ask you for contact and delivery details, so ensure your new details are entered correctly. If you experience trouble logging in or have forgotten your password, please select the ‘forgot password’ option. This will send a temporary password to your email address and you will then be able to login using this. If you are unable to remember the email address you used, please contact us and we will be able to find your account using your name.
